“He’ll never go back. They never do. It’s a matter of pride.”
“You’re right” She mumbled back.
You know that scene in movies when the madly infatuated
male character runs after the love of his life and chases her all the way to the airport and confesses his love and they live happily ever after? Yes, the super sweet “awe” TYPICAL airport scene. Yeah, that never happens. In real life, two people split. That’s it. THE END. It doesn’t matter how much they love each other or how much it hurts afterwards. In most cases, no one turns around. They might still be madly in love with each other and that person was THE ONE, but na-da. No return. No second glance.
Why? PRIDE.
Quite a shame. You lose something magical, because of mere pride, but it happens everyday. The guy is too macho to give in and confess he still has the sweets for his gal. The girl, well let’s just say she’ll always wait for mr.macho man to come back and swoop her off her feet. WAIT, key word there. No girl wants to be the sorry ex who begged for her man back. In the girl’s perspective, if he wants me, he would come back. Sorry sweetheart, he won’t. His pride won’t let him. It’s much easier to start anew. Pride > Love.
They tell you LOVE CONQUERS ALL. It doesn’t. That only happens in movies.
In real life, ALL CONQUERS LOVE.
EPonym & Esta ft. Jeff Bernat - Distance (Autumn Remix)
when you find someone you like, and you guys aren’t “official” , don’t be jealous. Your both single.. so your not cheating anyone off, your just keeping your variety opened. I know that sounds like a dick move, but overtime as I begin to like girls, I tend to get jealous. But now I understand that, you guys aren’t “boyfriend/girlfriend” yet, so why are you jealous? You gotta live life with a wide range of options. You don’t want to keep openning only one door, when you can find happiness through another one. Not all relationship gets to the point where your “boyfriend/girlfriend”, I guess that’s why people have “rebounds”. As cruel as that sounds, its true.. your not being a player, your not being a hoe..your pursuiting happiness.
People needa realize THIS.
just know you never gave me a reason to stay.
